Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with healthcare customer service exposure.
• Experience handling payments and balancing cash in a fast-paced setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with insurance verification and patient check-in procedures is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients professionally and perform health screenings as needed.
• Verify demographics and insurance information in the Practice Management System.
• Collect payments, co-payments and post to the patient account; balance cash at day end.
• Assist with referrals, sign forms, and ensure compliant registration in Epic.
• Provide coverage across cross-site locations and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
