Labcorp in Parsippany, NJ is hiring a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform venipuncture, collect specimens for tests, enter patient data accurately and maintain logs while delivering excellent customer service in a patient-facing role.

The role supports multiple sites and may require travel; requires high school diploma and phlebotomy experience, with certification from an accredited program preferred. Pay range listed and benefits available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Phlebotomist will work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office.
