Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Parsippany, NJ. You will perform blood collections, assist with specimen preparation, and provide excellent patient service in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 6 months of phlebotomy experience; a certified phlebotomist is preferred. Pay ranges from $17.75 to $24.00 per hour with eligible benefits and incentive opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
