Labcorp in Parsippany, NJ is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques, data entry, and providing excellent patient service.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy experience or certification. The position offers a Monday–Thursday 9:00am–5:00pm schedule and opportunities to travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
