Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Lab Services Specialist to deliver exceptional venipuncture and clinical support, joining the patient’s primary care team at our Inner Sunset office in San Francisco. This full-time role emphasizes high-quality specimen collection, calm patient interactions, and collaboration with a diverse clinical and administrative team.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will navigate a modern tech stack including EMR 1Life, Slack, G-suite, and Zoom to support daily workflows.

Qualifications

• Must have an active phlebotomy certification to practice in CA.
• 6+ months of relevant Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide venipuncture and other clinical support to patients.
• Perform extended scope duties such as non-blood specimen collection, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, vaccines.
• Label, handle and process specimens; maintain inventory and sterilization.
• Assist providers and virtual medical team with clerical duties and patient communications.
