Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's CHI Lakeside ENT Clinic is seeking a Medical Support Assistant (MSA) to be the first point of contact, ensuring smooth patient flow and efficient administrative operations. You will manage scheduling, registration, and confidential record-keeping, handle referrals, billing, and maintain a welcoming, organized environment to support clinicians and patients alike.

Successful candidates will have CNA or EMR training and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• CNA or EMR training is required upon hire.
• Proficiency in medical administrative procedures and software.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients, document visit reasons, obtain vital signs, review drug allergies.
• Record medications listed in EMR and complete screening questionnaires.
• Collect and prepare specimens for lab analysis; sterilize instruments.
• Maintain stocked, clean exam rooms; escalate issues promptly.
