Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Clinic LPN or CMA to keep daily clinic operations running smoothly and support the clinical team. You will proactively prepare patient charts and ensure information is up-to-date for patients in our facility.

Daily duties include managing patient flow, coordinating with physicians on-site, and collaborating with the team to prioritize tasks for seamless patient care. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, efficient, and empathetic toward patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing for LPN or CMA education.
• Licensed Practical Nurse: MN or CMA.
• Basic Life Support - CPR.
• EPIC EMR experience (preferred).
• Previous experience as an LPN or CMA (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Checks schedules and organizes patient flow.
• Accompanies patients to the exam room and updates electronic medical records.
• Prepares patients for exams/procedures.
• Assists/performs medication administration, dressings and collecting of lab specimens as instructed.
• Relays information regarding follow-up care and return visit to patients and families.
• Schedules tests and procedures as directed.
