Job summary

Trinity Health Enfield Primary Care is seeking a friendly Business Services Representative to handle front desk duties, patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification and cash collection. You’ll be the first welcome and help ensure smooth visits.

This full-time, day-shift role emphasizes accurate records, referrals and pre-authorizations while delivering compassionate customer service in a busy primary care setting with supportive teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience within a medical office or billing department preferred.
• Knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology preferred.
• Excellent keyboard skills.
• Requires proficiency in a Windows based computer environment and Microsoft Office products.
• Accuracy and dependability required.

Responsibilities

• Greets and communicates with patients via phone or in person in a courteous and professional manner identifying themselves and their department.
• Answers telephones in a timely, courteous, and professional manner utilizing appropriate scripting.
• Processes calls to ensure patients are transferred to the appropriate staff member/provider in a timely manner.
• Schedules patient appointments based on department protocols in order to maximize provider productivity.
