Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform imaging studies and ensure high-quality diagnostic results. You will prepare, position, and acquire images while maintaining patient safety and dignity throughout the procedure.

The role requires ARRT certification, at least 1 year of clinical experience, and willingness to work a PRN/part-time schedule with potential for up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Associates Radiologic Technology required.
• ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech.
• BLS Instructor certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging exams per department procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions.
• Verify patient identity and proper labeling of studies.
• Provide pre/post procedural care and patient education.
