Job summary

Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support nursing staff in a fast-paced clinical setting. Under RN/LPN supervision, you will assist with activities of daily living, collect patient data, and help maintain a safe, organized care environment.

This full-time position requires good communication, infection control practices, and teamwork. BCLS within 90 days and CNA preferred; nursing program students are welcome to apply for hands-on experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with delegated basic patient care and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Collect and record vital signs and data, reporting to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Support patients with meals, bathing, grooming, mobility, and hygiene.
• Assist with patient positioning, ambulation, and use of mobility aids.
• Maintain infection control practices and proper PPE usage.
• Participate in performance improvement, risk management, and safety initiatives.
