Job summary

Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care under RN/LPN supervision.

You will assist with activities of daily living, maintain a safe environment, and support effective communication within the health care team. Responsibilities include taking vital signs, assisting with meals and hygiene, mobility support, specimen collection, glucose monitoring, and PPE use.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred.
• Basic knowledge of patient care practices and equipment.
• BCLS within 90 days of hire; CPCT/CNA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Record vital signs and report findings to RN/LPN or LVN.
• Support patient mobility, meals, hygiene, and use of mobility aids as needed.
• Document and communicate patient information to the care team and follow PPE protocols.
