Ascension in Nashville, TN seeks a patient care role to support patients with diverse diagnoses in the Pulmonary Post Thoracic Surgery department. This full-time night shift involves assisting with daily living activities, taking vital signs, and providing emotional support to patients under nursing supervision.

Requirements include a BLS certification within 30 days of hire and a preferred Nurse Aide; a high school diploma or GED or one year of related experience is required.

How you'll make an impact in this role

• Provide support and care for patients with a wide-array of diagnoses.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Aide preferred.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
