Select Specialty Hospital Tucson Northwest, a Select Medical facility, is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for a full-time day shift. You will support patients with bathing, feeding, hygiene, and mobility, and participate in hourly rounds while maintaining clean rooms and equipment.

Required: High School Diploma or GED, 3+ years of related work experience, and BLS within 90 days of hire. Hospital or nursing assistant background is preferred, with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered

Responsabilidades

• Provide patient bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients and assist with moving patients in stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs and other equipment.
• Keep patients' rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule: Full-Time Day Shift, 12-Hour ShiftsCompensation: $19.32 - $24.50 per hour, based on years of experience

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients' rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant)
