Select Specialty Hospital - Central Kentucky is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) in Danville, KY for full-time, 12-hour shifts. Compensation ranges from $18 to $21.94 per hour, with an additional shift differential for night and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant).

Responsibilities

• Perform patient bathing using basin-less bath products and assist with oral hygiene, feeding and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to and from treatment centers and assist move to stretchers and wheelchairs.

• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
