Job summary

Ascension Health is hiring for a full-time patient care role at Ascension St. Vincent Heart Center in Carmel, IN. You will assist with patient movement, daily living activities, and maintain rooms and equipment. BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire.

The schedule features three 12-hour night shifts per week, with rotation every third weekend, and eligibility for health benefits, retirement plan, and PTO.

• Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Documents necessary records.

• Keeps patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintains medical equipment.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
