Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a clinical support teammate to provide direct patient care under RN supervision on the inpatient unit. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vitals, collect specimens, document in the electronic medical record, and support care coordination for admissions, discharges, and transfers.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, completion of two weeks of training, basic math, reading/writing, and CPR certification; prior acute care

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Two weeks of training with supervision is required.
• Ability to read, write and follow instructions.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document direct patient care and activities of daily living.
• Participate in quality initiatives and hourly rounding for safety.
• Document vital signs, weights, I&O, restraints, and treatments; report changes.
• Assist with unit activities such as supply stocking and equipment cleaning.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
