Job summary

The Little Clinic in Ohio seeks a Patient Care Technician to support daily clinic operations, maximize patient flow, and deliver an excellent patient experience. You will perform administrative tasks including EHR documentation under the supervision of clinicians, while upholding the company’s values of respect, integrity, and safety.

The role focuses on greeting patients, assisting with registrations, collecting payments and insurance information, and ensuring a clean, safe clinical environment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Excellent administrative, communication, and organizational skills are essential.
• Basic math skills including counting, addition, and subtraction.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
• Excellent customer service, organization, and task-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining a safe, quality-based, survey-ready healthcare environment as required to maintain Joint Commission Accreditation.
• Greet customers or potential patients in the front area or near the clinic.
• Clean and organize the clinic space daily, including waste disposal, supply logging, and room cleaning.
• Answer questions following HIPAA guidelines and consult with the provider as needed.
• Manage waiting room flow using the Patient Queue, Appointment Tool, and Patient Kiosk systems.
