Job summary

The Little Clinic is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support patient flow and deliver a high-quality experience. You will perform essential clerical tasks, document in the EHR, and assist clinical staff under the supervision of a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.

You will greet patients, manage registrations, verify identities, collect payments and insurance details, and help maintain a safe, survey-ready healthcare environment.

• Strong administrative, communication, and organizational skills are essential for efficiency.
• Excellent customer service and a calm, patient-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining a safe, quality-based environment in the clinic.
• Greet customers and patients at the front area and manage front desk activities.
• Maintain clinic space and cleanliness, including room and equipment sanitation.
• Assist with registration, appointment management, and patient flow.
• Verify patient identity and collect insurance information as applicable.
• Enter patient data and vital signs into the EHR as directed.
• Provide guidance on registration, wait times, and payment methods to patients.
• Answer phones and respond to patient/provider calls per policy.
• Prepare supplies and specimens for provider as needed.
• Travel to designated clinics if floated to multiple locations.
