Job summary

The Little Clinic is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support daily clinic operations in Brentwood, TN. Under supervision, you will maximize patient flow, perform administrative tasks in the EHR, and uphold our values of respect, integrity, and safety.

You will greet patients, assist with registration, collect payments, and help maintain a clean, compliant clinical environment. Prior healthcare exposure is a plus; strong customer service and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Excellent administrative, communication, and organizational skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a fast-paced team-based environment.
• Excellent customer service and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, quality-based healthcare environment per Joint Commission requirements.
• Greet customers and potential patients in front area.
• Clean and organize clinic space daily and disinfect equipment.
• Assist with front desk tasks following HIPAA guidelines.
• Manage waiting room flow with patient queue and appointment tools.
• Complete registration and verify patient identity.
• Determine payment method and log transactions in EHR.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and document chief complaint.
• Record vitals and medical history in the EHR.
• Provide guidance to waiting patients on registration, wait times, services, and payment methods.
• Answer calls and complete daily patient callbacks.
• Prepare for off-site events and ship packages as needed.
