Job summary

The Little Clinic in Phoenix is seeking a Patient Care Technician to help maximize patient flow and deliver an excellent patient experience. Under the day-to-day direction of the on-duty nurse practitioner/physician assistant, you will perform administrative tasks, manage the front area, and ensure accurate EHR documentation.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma, basic math and computer skills, and strong customer service with attention to detail.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with EHR systems.
Excellent administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Able to work cooperatively in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
Strong customer service, communication, and task management abilities.

Responsibilities

Assist in maintaining a safe, quality-based, survey-ready healthcare environment.
Greet customers or potential patients in front area or near the clinic.
Clean and organize the clinic space daily and disinfect equipment.
Register patients and manage waiting room flow using scheduling tools.
Verify patient identity and collect insurance information and payments.
Enter patient data and vital signs into the EHR per policy.
Guide waiting patients on registration, wait times, and services offered.
Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and perform daily callbacks.
Prepare for off-site events and handle weekly supply orders as needed.
Travel to designated clinics if float and assist provider with specimen collection as needed.
