Job summary

The position requires a PCT program or CNA with EKG/Phlebotomy training and a current BLS/CPR certification. You will participate in data collection for quality initiatives and assist with admissions, transfers and discharges.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a PCT program with 6 months hospital experience or CNA with EKG & Phlebotomy training and PCT eligible.
• BLS/CPR certification (AHA) required on entry or upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist the professional nurse in patient care and unit readiness.
• Collect data for Quality and Performance Improvement programs.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean patient environment and assist with transport.
• Respond promptly to patient calls and requests.
