• Current BLS/CPR-AHA certification required on entry to position.

Responsibilities

• Assist professional nurses in patient care tasks and maintain unit safety.
• Support data collection for quality improvement and patient satisfaction measures.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge processes per unit procedures.
• Observe patients and report findings to the assigned nurse; respond to calls promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms, equipment, and supplies.
• Provide phlebotomy, fingersticks for glucose, and ECGs as assigned.
