Qualified candidates have a PCT program background or CNA with EKG/Phlebotomy training and PCT certification eligibility, plus BLS/CPR. The role emphasizes infection control, teamwork, and responsive communication with patients and families.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a PCT program with hospital experience preferred.
• CNA with course completion in EKG & Phlebotomy and PCT cert eligibility
• BLS/CPR certification required upon entry to position.

Responsibilities

• Assist the nurse in patient care tasks with safe, compassionate support.
• Maintain supplies, equipment and environment to standard.
• Participate in Quality and Performance Improvement data collection.
• Support unit activities and participate in emergencies as directed.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges per unit procedures.
