Qualifications

• Must have completed nursing aide training program or STNA/ CNA / Nursing aide certification as applicable.
• BLS Basic Life Support is preferred and should be obtained prior to direct patient care.
• Experience in acute care, physician offices, home health/hospice, or long-term care is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care including comfort, hygiene, and mobility assistance.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to the nurse promptly.
• Assist with feeding, grooming and activities; document care accurately.
• Serve as liaison between patient and nurse and maintain high-quality customer service.
