Bon Secours Mercy Health at Lourdes Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support nurses and caregivers by providing basic patient care, monitoring vital signs, assisting with feeding, grooming and mobility, and maintaining clean, comfortable rooms to promote healing.

In a compassionate, fast-paced setting you will document care accurately, liaise between patients and the nursing team, participate in hand-offs, and help patients maintain independence.

Qualifikationen

• BLS certification preferred; must obtain before direct patient care.
• Nursing aide training program or CNA certification or related nursing program with clinical rotation.

Aufgaben

• Provide basic patient care including comfort, vital signs, personal care and mobility assistance.
• Act as liaison between patient and nurse to report changes or concerns.
• Provide high-level customer service to patients, families, visitors, and staff.
• Document patient care accurately and promptly.
• Participate in hand-off reporting at arrival and departure.
• Perform delegated tasks once competency is validated.
• Mobilize patients using safe transfer techniques.
• Encourage patient independence and tailor care to individual interests.
