Job summary

ClearSky Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support Registered Nurses with bedside care in an inpatient setting. You will perform basic patient care tasks, monitor vitals, and assist with admissions and daily activities while maintaining a safe, clean environment.

The role requires strong infection prevention knowledge, good communication, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced hospital setting. Local hospital work with physical demands is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or strongly preferred.
• 2 years of inpatient hospital experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Strong infection prevention knowledge and ability to follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, non-invasive bedside care under RN supervision.
• Record vital signs, intake/output, weights, and specimens.
• Assist with patient transfers using proper body mechanics.
• Maintain clean and safe patient rooms and equipment.
• Respond to patient and family calls promptly and professionally.
• Diligently document care and charges using hospital systems.
