Job summary

ClearSky Health in Eau Claire, WI seeks a dedicated Patient Care Technician to deliver direct, non-invasive bedside care under RN supervision. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vitals, and document observations to support patient comfort and safety.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and ideally 2 years of inpatient hospital experience, plus strong communication and infection prevention knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or strongly preferred.
• 2 years of inpatient hospital experience preferred.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and proper body mechanics.
• Effective written and verbal communication; ability to prioritize and manage tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside care including bathing, toileting, feeding, and grooming.
• Record and report vital signs, intake/output, and weights.
• Assist in transferring patients using proper body mechanics.
• Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Prepare units, patient rooms, and beds for admissions.
