Job summary

Ascension St John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK is seeking a full-time Medsurg patient care assistant for the night shift. You will support movement and positioning, assist with activities of daily living, and help maintain patient rooms and equipment.

Responsibilities include reporting condition changes to nursing staff and documenting records to ensure continuous patient care. A High School diploma or equivalent is required, with BLS within 30 days, and Nurse Aide preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable experience.
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Nurse Aide preferred.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Preferred Credential(s):
  • Nurse Aide.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
