Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Highlands is hiring for a Nurse Aide/Patient Care support role in Med Surg. Located in Sparta, TN, this Day/PRN position supports patient care under nursing supervision and helps with daily living activities.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, and BLS certification within 30 days; Nurse Aide is preferred. This position offers meaningful work in a Catholic health system with a strong emphasis on service and care.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Aide preferred.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
