Job summary

Ascension is hiring for a Full-Time Night shift in Tulsa, OK at Ascension St John Medical Center's Emergency Department. You will lead patient care, drive care planning, coordinate a multidisciplinary team, and vigilantly monitor patient conditions to act quickly when changes occur.

Required RN licensure with ACLS/BLS timing as noted; pediatric life support preferred. Diploma or equivalent licensure and commitment to high-quality care are expected.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing required before hire or transfer.
• Advanced Life Support within 180 days of hire (AHA/ARC accepted) or BLS within 30 days of hire (AHA/ARC accepted).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.

• Practice Vigilant Monitoring: Accurately observe, record, and promptly communicate changes in patient conditions, acting quickly and decisively on clinical insights.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
