Job summary

Ascension St John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Inpatient Post Surgical department. This full-time role involves delivering holistic nursing care, coordinating care plans, and acting as the central communication link across disciplines to ensure a seamless patient journey.

You will monitor patient conditions, document changes, and adapt care as needed. Requires Oklahoma RN license and BLS within 30 days of hire; diplomas accepted for qualification.

• Lead Patient Care: Deliver holistic, high-quality nursing care that aligns with the highest clinical standards and organizational protocols.
• Drive Care Planning: Initiate, implement, and continuously monitor personalized patient care plans, ensuring they are effective and adapt to changing needs.
• Coordinate the Team: Serve as the central communication link for all disciplinesâfrom physicians to specialistsâto ensure a unified and seamless care journey for every patient.
• Practice Vigilant Monitoring: Accurately observe, record, and promptly communicate changes in patient conditions, acting quickly and decisively on clinical insights.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
