Ascension seeks a Patient Care Technician to join the team at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. This full-time daytime role supports ICU/Medical units with bedside care, vital signs monitoring, and accurate documentation.

You will assist with mobility, hygiene, and safe transfers while maintaining a sterile environment and readiness of equipment. Required BLS certification within 1 month of hire, and a high school diploma equivalency or 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider required within 1 month of hire (AHA or Red Cross accepted).
• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience; licensure/certification can count in lieu of education/experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide bedside care including mobility, hygiene (ADLs), and safe transfers.
• Monitor vital signs and document data accurately.
• Act as the primary eyes and ears for the nursing staff by clear communication.
• Keep the environment sterile and equipment ready.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
