Job summary

Ascension St. Vincent in Fishers, IN is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to support surgical teams in a fast-paced environment. You will perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care under supervision, assist with movement and daily living activities, and help keep rooms clean and equipment ready.

This role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, and a BLS certification within 30 days of hire; Nurse Aide preferred. Schedule is full-time days, located in the Surgery department.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider required within 30 days of hire (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Nurse Aide preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Preferred Credential(s):
  • Nurse Aide.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
