Patient Care Tech - PCT - Clinical Tech - SICU

Full Time - Night - 40 hours

Qualified PCTs, take your career to the next level with Johns Hopkins Medicine. We are looking for PCTs with inpatient/hospital experience to work at Johns Hopkins Medicine.

Minimal requirements include:

• A Maryland CNA License
• At least 1 year of hospital-based experience within the last 2 years
• Proficiency in phlebotomy, starting IVs, and EKG

Surgical ICU (SICU) is an 18-bed adult ICU (14 ICU beds and 4 IMC beds). Patient population includes trauma, abdominal transplant (renal, liver & pancreas), vascular, and general surgery.

Clinical Technicians at The Johns Hopkins Hospital provide highly skilled, compassionate, patient- and family-centered care as part of the healthcare team. Ongoing education is provided to ensure technicians perform at the highest level of their certification and scope. During your first year, you'll attend eight days of off-unit training with interactive learning activities supporting your development.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active Maryland CNA Certification
• One year of relevant clinical experience (home care, outpatient, acute hospital care); volunteer EMT or CRT work may be considered

Salary Range: $17.37 - $26.13 per hour, based on experience and role scope. Salary discussions will occur during candidate screening if range is not specified.
