Qualified PCT's, take your career to the next level with Johns Hopkins Medicine. We are looking PCT's with In Patient / Hospital experience to work at Johns Hopkins Medicine.



Minimal requirements include;



-Highschool diploma



-A Maryland CNA License



-at least 1 year of hospital-based experience in the last 2 years



-proficient in phlebotomy, starting IV's, EKG

The Johns Hopkins Hospital Cardiovascular Surgical ICU (CVSICU) is a 18 bed unit that provides care for patients who are recovering from cardiac surgery, cardiac transplantation, lung transplantation, the placement of ventricular assist devices, and other complex procedures. We receive patients directly from the operating room and manage their needs through their intensive care phase. It is a very fast paced unit driven through team work and collaboration within a highly competent multidisciplinary team to provide the best care possible to this specialized patient population. We pride ourselves on training the best of the best in a learning environment where our team can develop and grow. We always welcome new members and fresh ideas. Qualifications:




  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required.

  • One year of clinical experience e.g., home care, outpatient, acute care (hospital preferred) technician experience during the most recent two years in a setting relevant to the unit; volunteer work as EMT or CRT may be considered.

  • BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted.

Salary Range: Minimum 20.49 per hour - Maximum 31.76 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
