Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Night Shift, Full-time Nursing Assistant in Baltimore, MD, to support the Neurology department. You will perform basic patient care under supervision, assist with activities of daily living, and help maintain a clean, safe patient environment.

The role requires timely reporting of changes to nursing staff and completion of required certifications. Minimum qualifications include a High School diploma equivalency or equivalent experience, BLS within 30 days, and Nurse Aide

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Nurse Aide credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date required.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Aide credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
