Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville, TN is seeking staff for Medical Observation on the night shift, part-time. You will obtain vital signs, monitor fluid intake and output, and assist with activities of daily living to support patient comfort and mobility.

Responsibilities include phlebotomy procedures, direct patient care, and rounding with patients. Certifications like BLS are required or in process; Nurse Aide is preferred.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Nurse Aide preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
