Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville, TN seeks an Emergency Room professional for the evening shift, full-time. You will lead emergency response, rapidly assess scenes, and implement high-priority care plans in a fast-paced ER.

You will monitor vitals, provide real-time briefings to the nursing team, ensure safe patient transport, and support continuous care. Licensure requirements include BLS, EMT credentialing within set timelines, and TN driver’s license.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 Month (30 days) of hire/date; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Driver's License from TN MVD before hire date.
• Advanced Emergency Medical Tech credentialed from the Tennessee EMS Division within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date.

• Deliver precision care using advanced medical equipment to treat and stabilize patients during critical moments.
• Ensure care continuity by monitoring vitals and providing real-time clinical briefings to the nursing team.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Drivers License credentialed from the Tennessee Bureau of Motor Vehicles obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

• Advanced Emergency Medical Tech credentialed from the Tennessee Emergency Medical Services Division obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's

degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
