UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a Patient Care Technician I (Non-Exempt) for a full-time, 40-hour schedule. The position runs the Day Shift (7:00am - 3:30pm) with alternating holidays and weekends, totaling 32 scheduled hours in the posting.

The hourly hiring range is $18.92 - $26.96. Under the direction of licensed clinicians, the PCA I performs varied patient care activities, including vital signs, EKGs, POC tests, specimen handling, and assistance with daily living

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and communicate in English in a clear and concise manner.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic Medical Terminology knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Provides clear, timely communication to the RN regarding observations and changes seen in patients.
• Takes and records vital signs and other measurements as directed.
• Assists patient with daily living activities and safe handling/transport of patients.
• Maintains a safe, respectful environment and follows policies and procedures.
