Job summary

The positionincludes a 36-hour weekly schedule, a day shift, and a potential signing bonus. A High School diploma or GED and BLS certification are required, along with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED required.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days.
• English literacy, basic computer skills, and medical terminology.
• Ability to stay calm under stress or in emergencies.
• PCA II requires 800 hours and 6 months as PCA I, plus prior care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear, timely communication to the RN about observations and changes in patients.
• Maintain constant observation of high-risk patients as assigned.
• Participate in creating a safe environment and assist in de-escalation and restraints as directed.
• Assist patients with daily living activities and nourishment.
• Assist in moving, lifting, and transporting patients using proper safety techniques.
