Intermountain Health American Fork Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Technician (CNA) to support the patient care team in a fast-paced Med/Surg unit. The role includes basic bedside tasks, patient comfort, and documentation under supervision.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and deliver basic patient care tasks with excellent customer service.
• Report changes in patient condition promptly and document findings.
• May perform telemetry duties and function as a patient care attendant as needed.
• Collaborate with the RN and interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
• May assume health unit coordinator responsibilities such as answering phones and transcribing orders.
