Job summary

Intermountain Health American Fork Hospital in Utah is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support the patient care team in Surgical Services - Same Day Surgery/PACU. This part-time role offers 24 hours per week with 12-hour shifts (Mon & Fri 0600-1830; no weekends or major holidays).

The incumbent will perform basic patient care tasks, document findings, monitor patients, and may assume Health Unit Coordinator duties as needed. CNA/BLS certification and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) required in Utah.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Strong communication and computer literacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care tasks (toileting, bathing, mobility) with excellent customer service.
• Document patient care findings and data promptly.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to RN.
• May perform Health Unit Coordinator duties as needed.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, effective care.
