Job summary

Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital is seeking a Night Patient Care Technician to support the patient care team with basic tasks and procedures. Duties include assisting with activities of daily living, documenting observations, and collaborating with RNs to ensure high-quality patient care.

Minimum CNA and BLS certifications are required, with potential to perform health unit coordination duties on the unit.

Qualifications

• CNA certification in the applicable state is required or preferred.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers required or preferred.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care including activities of daily living.
• Record and report patient data and observations promptly.
• Collaborate with RN and care team to ensure optimal patient care.
• May perform telemetry duties and assist as a health unit coordinator when needed.
