Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver basic patient care including toileting, bathing, linen changes, hydration, ambulation, comfort, and patient needs.
• Report and record patient care findings promptly and escalate changes in condition.
• Monitor patients and assist with telemetry as required; collaborate with the care team.
• Transport medications from the delivery system to the RN on the unit.
• Coordinate with the RN and interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
• May perform Health Unit Coordinator duties (phone answering, orders transcription, unit records).
• Implement plan of care as delegated.
• Perform duties within scope of practice and comply with safety standards.
