Intermountain Health St George Regional Hospital in Utah seeks a Patient Care Technician to support the patient care team under licensed professionals. You will assist with basic cares, monitor patients, document data, and help with unit coordination.

This full-time night position requires CNA and BLS, strong computer literacy, and excellent communication. You will collaborate with RNs and the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care, with growth opportunities in a mission-driven

Qualifications

Current Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in the state of practice.
Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
Completion of a CNA training program within the past year.
Passing grade in Fundamentals of Nursing or equivalent course within two years.
Ability to document patient care and access needed information on a computer.

Responsabilités

Prioritize and deliver basic patient care including toileting, bathing, hygiene, and comfort.
Report changes in patient condition promptly and coordinate with RN.
May perform telemetry duties and monitor patients as required.
Transport medications to the RN and assist on the unit as needed.
Collaborate with the RN and care team to ensure optimal patient care.
May assume Health Unit Coordinator duties such as phones, orders, and unit supplies.
Follow plan of care and safeguard patient safety in emergencies.
