Overview:

Sentara Urgent Care New Town is hiring a Part-Time Patient Care Specialist in Williamsburg, VA!

Schedule: Clinic hours are 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, and 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Hours may vary based on business needs and candidate availability.

As a Patient Care Specialist with Sentara Health, you will provide non-clinical support in a physician's office, ensuring excellent patient experiences through administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and responding to patient inquiries. Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent

Experience

  • At least 3 years of clerical or customer service experience
  • At least 1 year of experience with health insurance plans, medical records data, medical terminology, registration, scheduling, or third-party payers
  • An associate's degree may substitute for experience
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record systems is preferred
