Overview:

Sentara Urgent Care St. Luke's is now hiring a PRN Patient Care Specialist in Carrollton, VA!

Location: Carrollton, VA

Work Shift: Swing Shift

Schedule: Clinic hours - 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Monday-Friday; Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. (shifts may vary based on need and availability)

Role Description: As a Patient Care Specialist with Sentara Health, you will provide non-clinical support within a physician's office, ensuring an excellent patient experience through administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and responding to patient questions. Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• At least 3 years of clerical or customer service experience
• 1 year of experience with health insurance plans, medical records data, medical terminology, registration, scheduling, or third-party payers
• An Associate's degree may substitute for experience
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record systems preferred
