Overview: Sentara Medical Group is now hiring a full-time Patient Care Specialist in the Southside area of Virginia!

This is a float position supporting medical offices throughout the Southside area, including Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake locations. Travel to other areas within Hampton Roads including Northeast North Carolina may be required based on staffing needs.

Hours

• Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 8:00PM. Staff will rotate shifts, and your assigned shift will fall within these hours.

Overview

As a Patient Care Specialist with Sentara Healthcare, you will provide non-clinical support within a physician's office and ensure an excellent patient experience by performing a variety of complex administrative tasks to support patient care delivery. Primary duties include answering phones, scheduling appointments, and answering patient questions. Compensation

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $21.69 - $32.44 hourly.

Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
