The role involves accurate record-keeping, timely communication, and adherence to policies, with a focus on efficient, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of computer proficiency including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and multiple web apps.
• 1+ year in a medical office performing scheduling, patient check-in/out, insurance verification and charting.
• Able to work a 40-hour week with defined shifts (Mon-Fri 8:00–19:00; rotating Saturdays 8:00–14:00).
• Reliable transportation for coverage needs (up to 10% travel).

Responsabilidades

• Obtain accurate patient information and insurance details.
• Perform on-date insurance verification and collect co-pays.
• Schedule appointments and manage registration workflow.
• Maintain medical records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Communicate with care teams and patients about scheduling and care plans.
