Job summary

Mainline Health Systems, Inc. in Monticello, AR is seeking a Call Center Specialist to support patient access and scheduling.

You will handle appointment scheduling in the EMR, collect payment information, and maintain patient demographics while routing calls to the appropriate staff. As part of the care team, you will participate in daily huddles and monthly meetings, complete training, and help sustain our Patient Centered Medical Home model of care with friendly, accurate service to patients

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Secretarial training program preferred; prior experience may substitute.
• Typing speed minimum of 60 words per minute.
• Strong communication with staff, patients, and public.
• Experience using office machines and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Schedules appointments in the EMR.
• Gather third party payment information.
• Maintain patient information including demographics.
• Answer all incoming calls and route to staff.
• Support daily operations to provide primary health care.
• Participate in meetings and daily huddles.
• Complete training as required.
• Manage No-Show/Cancellation lists.
• Call and confirm future appointments.
• Perform other duties assigned by Clinic/Office Manager.
